It is important for individuals diagnosed with HPV to have someone to turn to – someone to listen to concerns and answer questions. The American Social Health Association and the HPV and Cervical Cancer Prevention Resource Center are here to help. Continuing our mission to increase education, public awareness, and provide support to anyone concerned about HPV is essential.
HPV affects an estimated 5.5 million people each year, and at least 50% of sexually active people will contract the virus during their lifetime. Given this reality, it is vital that we maintain our services, guaranteeing that they remain available to the many thousands of people seeking information on HPV and cervical cancer. Expanding the HPV Resource Center's Web services, including a monitored chat room, e-mail response service, and continuation of our bi-monthly electronic newsletter, HPV e-News, is a high priority.
As a supporter of the HPV and Cervical Cancer Prevention Resource Center, you will play an instrumental role in providing a number of services to those who need them. We are also committed to increased access to cervical cancer screening and to the development of effective HPV/cervical cancer vaccines.
Please and support ASHA today!
