The American Social Health Association (ASHA) encourages and permits text links to content on its website, www.ashastd.org. However, ASHA is an organization committed to the highest standards and ethics for online content. Therefore, the linking should not suggest that ASHA promotes or endorses any third party's causes, ideas, commercial or fundraising purposes, political campaigns, websites, products or services, nor use the ASHA copyrighted information or ASHA logo, trademarks or service marks without the express written consent of the American Social Health Association, Inc.. ASHA reserves the right to withdraw permission for any link at any time without notice or explanation.

Advance written permission to link to www.ashastd.org is necessary. However, be aware that subpages may change at any time without notice. Entities and individuals linking to the ASHA website must continuously verify links to our subpages. Incoming links are directed to the main entry, http://www.ashastd.org. (Deep links are not allowed without special written consent.)

Entities and individuals linking to www.ashastd.org shall not capture ASHA webpages within frames, present ASHA website content as its own, or otherwise misrepresent ASHA website content or misinform users about the origin or ownership of ASHA website content. Any link to a ASHA website should be a full forward link that passes the client browser to ASHA website unencumbered. The back button should return the visitor to its website if the visitor wishes to back out. The following guidelines have been established to preserve the informational nature of ASHA website. We accept link requests made by federal, state, and local governments, public health agencies, healthcare providers, support groups and educators that provide information and services that pertain to the symptoms, treatments and risks for sexually transmitted infections and diseases.
