Cervical cancer is easy to prevent if found and treated early. HPV or human
papillomavirus, is a common sexually acquired infection that can cause cervical
cancer.
A self-test for HPV can be used in the privacy of your home. It is
safe, effective and easy! We are interested in learning about women’s experiences using the self-test .
You will receive the self-test kit in the mail as part of a research study,
and we will ask that you mail us back a sample that you collect. You can also
take part in two surveys and go to a clinic for a Pap smear free of charge.
You can earn up to $45 .
Are you between 30 and 65 years?
Have you not had
a pap smear in the last four years?
Are you not pregnant?
If “yes” to all three questions, you may be able to receive a free cervical
cancer test by joining this research study. If interested, call 1-877-MyTest1
(1-877-698-3781).
