The American Sexually Transmitted Disease Association announces the availability of Developmental Awards for research on sexually transmitted infections (excluding HIV). The purpose of the award is to encourage new investigators (or investigators new to STD) to pursue careers in STD research.

Funding is available to persons who have recently achieved faculty status (including acting appointments) or those actively transitioning to faculty level appointments at a U.S. institution. Funding is limited to U.S. citizens.
