My ex has hep C and I know it's transmitted blood to blood, but you can never be too careful! Also, I am an IV drug user in recovery. I never shared needles (knowingly), but again, one can never be too careful. Where can I have myself tested for a minimal fee? I'm a broke college student, but now that I'm clean, I take my health seriously. Any help would be appreciated!

Sometimes local health departments will offer hepatitis testing, so check with your city/county health, or even student health (they may be able to give you a referral to someone in the area).

You might also call CDC INFO at 800.CDC.INFO (800.232.4636) for a clinic referral.

Take care and let us know how you're doing.

Fredo
