I am working on a book on sexually transmitted diseases and would like to interview people whose have been treated for chlamydia, gonorrhea or syphilis.
The book is aimed at 7th, 8th and 9th graders and is for the publisher Lucent Books, a division of Gale Publishing. The book is will be marketed to schools and libraries.
To make the book relevant to the students it is aimed at, I need to include personal stories and first-hand information. The individuals will be identified only by first name and age. Their information will help make the diseases real to students, and will improve the book’s use as an educational tool.
