I have recently contracted genital warts that are visible around the base of my penis. I just moved to Texas, so I do not have a physician that I see regularly and I don't know where to go to get an official diagnosis and begin treatment. What kind of doctor should I be looking for that would specialize in treating HPV and genital warts?

General practice health care providers are usually fine to diagnose and treat genital warts; those preferring specialists sometimes choose urologists or dermatologists. Often, public clinics such as those run by city/county health departments have experience in treating genital warts, too.
