I got Aldara to treat my warts...the question I have is how the hell do you apply this? I mean, I can't really contort to get to the right spots and it says not to put it inside the vagina, but my warts are almost inside...I'm afraid to inside to use the Aldara. But...my Dr did prescribe it for me.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really like to hurry up and treat these. Sooner rather than later, I'm sure you all understand!

Sorry you're having difficulty applying the Aldara! Sounds frustrating.

One thing about Aldara is it doesn't have to be applied "perfectly" on the area where warts are, but I don't know exactly how close to the warts one must get. Aldara seems to work by provoking a response from your immune system, at the "cellular level", in the area where the cream is applied.

You're right in that it's not indicated for internal warts, and your doctor must think the warts to be removed are in a location where you can reasonably expect to apply the cream effectively. Ask him/her if you have questions about the location of the warts and the proximity of where you apply the cream, and maybe a pharmacist can help, as well.
