I have recently been told I have Genital Warts and HPV. I went to my local Health department b/c i had noticed very small bumps. The doctor barely told me anything except that it will go away and that if she put acid on them they would go away b/c mine were so small. Well....its been a week and they are still there. She didn't tell me how long it would take for them to fall off or anything. I'm completely clueless about the whole situation.

Sometimes it requires more than one treatment to get rid of them. Did she advise you to go back?

At the clinic where I work, we advise to come back in a week if the treatment hasn't worked.
