my name is lidia am 20 years old and i would like to know if am HPV + is it going to be hard for be to get pregant? please help my doctor told me i was Hpv + last year i already got a coposcopy and a leep now i just have to follow a pap smear every 6 months for 1 year 1/2 but i want to have a baby is just that for some reason i dont get pregant is it because i ahve HPV?

It shouldn't have any effect on your fertility.

As Jessi said, HPV itself is not likely to impact fertility or the ability to deliver a healthy baby. Sometimes, the cervix can be weakened by treatment (especially if there are multiple surgeries), but most women do not lose fertility following therapy for cervical cell changes related to HPV and. In cases where the competence of the cervix if affected by treatment, procedures can often be done to help to restore it. Ask your health care provider if you have questions about your specific case.

HI THERE EVERY ONE WELL I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK ABOUT THESE BUT I WHEN FOR A PAP SMEAR AND I GOT A CALL TODAY FROM MY DOCTOR SHE SAID THAT MY PAPSMEAR CAME AS NO HPV BUT I DONT KNOW IF THAT MEANS I DODNT HAVE IT ANYMORE LIKE I SAID I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK.
