How exactly is HPV spread by skin-to-skin contact? Like for example you have to have direct genital contact? or for example in oral sex, you would get it in your mouth? or not? would it "go down" and affect your genital area? or in the other case if you receive oral sex, will you get it from the other person's mouth/saliva to your genital area? or how does it "work"?

I would appreciate if someone would clear up my doubts

I've been researching about it because a close person of mine, just got detected from pre-cancerous cells due to HPV and I would like to have more information. Thanks

Another:

So then would there be a high risk of getting HPV in your genitals only from receiving oral sex one time from your partner? (No genital contact, vaginal sex, nor giving oral sex) or is oral HPV very rare?

Or is there more risk to get it from normal intercourse or genital contact? I am kinda worried..
