Long time no talk! It been over two months since I last saw a wart and I'm hoping it will stay that way!! I did battle the damn suckers which thankfully popped around my bum area for about four months before finally hitting my two month clearence mark.

Since I've hit the two month mark, and thankfully have not had a reaccurance as of yet, do you think I'm way on my well to getting rid of this virus? I gotta tell you the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that there will probably be a cure for this GOD awful infection I unfortunately got like many others on this site.

I did some reading up regarding HspE7, and was wondering if you have heard anything regarding that vaccine? I'm assuming it's probably going to be like Cicrvax6...and I mistaken? I honestly feel that a cure is around the corner for HPV, what are your thoughts?

Lastly, any word on Cicrvax6? As always thank you so much for helping many of us through our difficult times.

Good to see you again. Not much news on the developmental vaccine front. Nventa, the manufacturer of the HspE7 vaccine, is planning Phase II trials to see how well it works in treating precancerous cervical cell changes related to HPV. Still fairly early, then, in the process.

No update from the CIRCRVAX 6 study...last we head they were still processing the data, not sure exactly what that means. Everyone's eagerly awaiting the results, I can tell you.

Recurrences with warts can happen most anytime, most often within the first three months following treatment. While certainly possible, I don't think it's common for warts to return in someone who's been clear for six months or so.
