I had noticed a while back that my throat had been irritating me. I felt something in the back of the uvula. It had gone down for a while and I was good, whatever.

Recently though, I've been checking it and noticed a slight change. There is like a white outline or something in the back of the throat. I don't know if it's due to the HPV. Mind you, I haven't been checked in the throat, I don't know where to go here exactly and I don't have insurance (which makes it worse).

Right now it just feels irritated and kinda like bumpy but other than that, I can eat, talk, etc just fine. What're the chances that this is linked to HPV? What could be going on?

Any information would help, thank you.

Hey,

("Hey." How's that for a clever intro...why do they let me work here?). No idea what's going on and, as troublesome as it is, getting checked at a clinic is the only way to find out. HPV doesn't often cause symptoms head and neck symptoms and when it does, the throat usually isn't involved. Who knows what the most likely explanation is, though? Sorry I can't help more!

Best,
Fredo
