Well, not to share too much detail, but yesterday it felt like the skin had been torn and today I cannot tell anything at all and she said thats how it usually happens for her. So i'm pretty sure that it was just minor trauma. Not warts.

Oh my God! Colt! I had not read your thread when I posted my message, but now that I have read yours, I can not believe how similar your situation is to mine. I do not have the wart causing type of HPV but what is to me more scary because I have the high risk type that may cause cancer, but the kind of concerns, worries, agony and distress that we are both going through sound so similar. I thought I was the only person in the world who was so worried about spreading HPV. In my situaton, I have no real person around me I can talk to or share my worries with and I kept searching for some information and some comfort online and kept finding conflicting, vague information. Please take a look at my thread if you get a chance. I dont know whether it would make you feel better or not. I hope it doesn't make you feel worse. Reading your thread didn't make me feel worse because most of your questions are very similar to the questions in my mind, and reading Fredo's and Betsyb's responses to your questions was helpful for me too. At least, we're not alone :) or the only ones going through this. You are also very lucky that you have a very supportive father and girlfriend.
Well... just wanted to say hang in there, you are not alone, things will get better :D
