ok, if i know who gave me hpv and i have sex with them again can it make the hpv worse, or give me more symptoms, or would it be safer to stay with the person who gave it to me?

Hello Hello,

If you have sex with the person who passed on HPV to you, you can't re-infect each other and you can't make it worse. Once you have the virus you have it.As far as it being safer to stay with the person who gave it to you that is a personal choice. If the relationship is unhealthy then move on but if the relationship is loving, supportive and nurturing then continue.

HPV is a very common virus.Here are two websites:

www.hpvtest.com
www.maketheconnection.org


There are both low risk viruses and high risk viruses. Low risk causes warts and high risk can cause cervical cancer but if detected early can be prevented. Just a quick cliff note version.
