Alright everyone, hopefully a final update in regards to my bout with HPV-16 and GWs.
Went for a follow-up today at the doctor's, he did a thorough check and said everything looks good...all gone.
I had some concerns about discoloration, but he said it is just some scar tissue and will fade with time...said he sees no visual signs of any GWs.

So one year and 10 months later...I believe I'm GW free (although I guess I've been since my last visit).
It's been a long and difficult battle on every level possible.

For those of you going through something similar and happen to come across this thread...realize there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It make take you some time to reach it, but you will. Trust me, the last 2 years have been the lowest points of my life...and dealing with HPV on top of it all took me to depths I've never been before. I'm hoping this is all behind me now...and hope everyone else also finds some level of peace with their own demons when it comes to dealing with HPV.
