I had unprotected oral and protected sex on February. Around March i developed a Pimple on my shaft. I worried i contact std since i never had a pimple in my genital before. Went to get test came back for hsv-1 positive. I was wondering could i have HPV or genital hsv-1. Let me describe the pimple/bump for you. First it was just a normal red small pimple. Couple days it grew big with white/yellow/clear puss. Doesn't really hurt but just big when i touch it. Doesn't itch at all. One time i touch it and it pop small amount of liquid came out. Next day it went back how it look at the first;just a small red pimple doesn't look it had puss inside of it. So i just left it alone so it can heal. Been at least a month still there same size so i got a needle and picked it and squeezed it very small amount of white puss (i think) came out. I put some cream on it so it can heal. It did now i have no pimple or bump just a small dent(like a piece of skin was torn off) from the pimple. Does the pimple/bump sound like HPV and genital hsv-1? There no test for HPV thank you all

Thanks for posting. It's hard to say what is the most likely cause of the pimple/bump you noticed; could be any number of things. We can't really offer a medical opinion, sorry to say, but I can tell you warts don't characteristically have fluid or pus in them. Genital warts are almost always accurately diagnosed with a visual inspection: did you have a blood test when you went to the clinic, or did someone actually look at your symptoms? They may be able to give you a pretty good idea based on what they saw. A blood test for HSV-1 doesn't always tell the tale, because so many people have oral HSV-1 (like with cold sores).

What exactly did they say at the clinic?

I went to get standard testing everything came back negative except hsv-1-4.44 high. At the point i didnt had any symptom just went because i had single pimple. Then about 2 week after i been getting weird symptom; tingling and burning at my shaft that comes and goes. It might be that i been thinking about it too much. Since the pimple gone i can't go to the doctor to get it looked at . At first it just a pimple with no puss/fluid but later grew big with fluid inside. Since it had fluid it not wart? Thank you very much fredo you make me feel much better

very small red pimple appear again. It the third time. I pretty sure it herpes or wart. im planning to go parenthood tomorrow.
