I got a tricky situation and need some help. I have always had protected sex and been careful all the time. Recently i have been having trouble with hemorrhoids. Is it possible to get stds when fluids from my partner possibly get towards my rectum? Am scared and confused please help

I'm not sure what you're asking but I'll try to address it. You can get certain STD's when sexual fluids enter the mucous membranes in your body. There are mucuos membranes at every opening in your body (the penis, rectum, mouth, eyes...etc). So the risk would be there if sexual fluids reach the mucuos membrane at the anus regardless of the hemorrhoids. If the anus is inflamed, it could make it easier for the bacteria or virus to enter the body, however.

Thanks for the reply. I did have my std tests including hiv taken a few weeks ago and was over joyed to get the results. I now will lay off having sex and i have always had sober protected sex for a while.
stds are not worth my life.
