My friend and I were messing around last night. She did oral on me and fingered me. I had been awhile since I had penetration (about 7 months). I notice when I got home, I was spotting brownish discharge and it continued on throughout the next day (but very light) This is the first time I’ve ever had this brown discharge. And I’ve already had my period (it ended about 8 days ago).

What could this be? I did a little research and found it could be Cervicitis... and I have HPV, could something be wrong with my cervix?

Hey MJ,

This could be just from the penetration from your fingers, especially if you haven't had sex in a while. Also her fingernails could have scratched your inner lining. This can happen.

I've had cervicitis before so having a discharge mixed with blood is a symptom. Als your body could be cleaning itself out from your cycle.

I would just make an appointment to make sure all of the plumbing is in order ( smile ). If it is cervicitis , then antibiotics will usually clear things up. Also BV can do the same things as cervicitis. Antibiotics can clean that up as well.

If the HPV is causing the issues, then there are procedures that can be done to help with the issue.

Next time with fingering, you may want to try some finger cots. These can be picked up in the bandage aisle at walmart or any drug store. My BF and I have used them before when he had a nasty paper cut on his finger and they are just like condoms . Pretty corny but hey never can be too careful
