Hi, I tested positive for chlamydia. The health dept told me to contact my bf and I did; heres the thing he has had all negative tests prior. We had a large fight this September in which I went and hung out with a guy there was kissing and some fooling around with hands. No sex or oral sex. Is it possible that the guy touched himself and then me gave me the chlamydia or is my bf not telling the truth? Also, if the guy I fooled around with did give it too me he needs to be tested or am i just grasping at straws believing he did not cheat? thanks
*both myself and my boyfriend were tested before we slept together. I have no idea on the other guys status.*

It's incredibly unlikely to get chlamydia through what you described. Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, and, although less likely, oral sex. Most women and some men do not experience symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks after infection.
However, keep in mind that chlamydia can be transmitted even if the penis or tongue does not enter the vagina, mouth, or rectum. Using latex condoms from the very beginning of sexual contact until there is no longer skin contact reduces the risk of transmission of chlamydia.
