I'm so new but it has dawned on me WHY ISN'T ASHA MORE RECOGNIZED IN DISPENSING GOOD INFO to the public , it appears this website is the Gold Standard just like Univ. of Wash research project for herpes?

We see all these PSA's but never head of ASHA til I stumbled on link from the CDC website. Our sex ed classes in middle school definately need revamping and I think ASHA should lead the way.

When kids can see, listen and view different types of sexually transmitted infections in greater depth it might help them. I just wonder nationally why each local health dept and campus clinics aren't pushing for more graffic PSA's. The tobacco psa have gotten seriously compeling and show disfigured people with the various cancers from smoking.

What do others feel, think that can bring about knowledge and for teens especially to reconsider having sex at such young age. Any other ideas?
