I was wondering if it's possible to get an STD/STI if my boyfriend and I have only ever had sex with eachother (we are both eachothers firsts and have had sex with no one else).
I just noticed a painful red bump in my vaginal area, it's just one and this is the first time this has ever happened, but it's made me wonder if there is any possibility that I have an STI.

The only possibility of it being an STI is if your partner had a paartner before you. If neither you now your partner have ever had sex before now, it wouldn't be an STI for ST in STI stands for sexually transmitted.

Keep in mind that bumps can appear anywhere on our bodies. If the same bump showed up on the back of your hand, you probably wouldn't think twice about it.

If the bump still has you concerned, you may want to check with your doc.
