I had unprotected oral sex with heavy petting. Although ejaculation did not occur during the oral sex for either partner -- this was done through manual stimulation. How long do you have to wait to take a comprehensive STI exam and be in the clear?

There isn't a likelyhood of getting STIs from this exposure. Possibly herpes if your partner had it and was shedding which happens 2%-6% of days during a given year. The best time to test for that would be 12 weeks post exposure with a type-specific IgG antibody test.

For all other STIs, you could test now and be able to rely on those tests but your doctor will probably tell you the same thing.
