Had handjob exposure at massage parlour last week of Nov 08.

Feb 1st week 09 - burning and mild itching while urinating. Subsequently some ulcerations developed on the inside of the foreskin (uncircumsised). But no pain, very mild fever, no swelling or headache or groin pain or abs pain etc.

Contacted hospital where i was tested for (around 10 weeks after exposure)

1) Gonn, Clym - negative
2) Syphillius Titer - negative
3) Hep B and C - negative
4) HIV - negative
5) Herpes - negative

6) Urine Culture - Sensitivity to Enterococcus Faecilis. 10000 - 50000 CFU/ml

Contacted 4 doctors - one Urology specialist as well. But received 4 different diagnosis
Doc 1 - Put me through STD tests and suspected Herpes or Gonn. Prescribed 10 day course of Doxycyclin and Valrex. Finished taking those. Didnt wait for results.
Doc 2 - Suspected Herpes but waited till Urine Culture and prescribed Antibacterial drug
Doc 3 - Urology Specialist - Suspected Herpes but prescribed Triamcinolone + Nystaxin oinment (hope got the spelling correct). Advised follow-up after one month.
Doc 4 - Checked test reports and said e.coli like infection. Asked me to take lots of water and get circumsised.

However, never developed pain or anything. But during this course of 2 weeks, noticed some sort of allergy like ulcerations at the corners of my lips and spread througout the upper and lower lipline Angular Chelitis

Need your help
1) today my dermatologist diagnosed that the genital lesions could be genital warts or molluscum contagiasm. Also, few tiny red spots on my torso - he said were Cherry Angioma. Last week i started having angular chestities infection. PLease read the entire episode below, and can you help by advising on

1) Is HPV or MC an STD? Do you think I could have got it from the handjob - especially coz the lesions have appeared exactly where the massuse touched me - foreskin.

2) Because of the place where it has appeared where in is in touch with the urethra - do you think i could have been exposed to HIV?

3)with these multiple infections around the same time do you think these of symptoms of HIV?

4) Do I need to get retested - as the tests all fall within 3 month period of exposure? However, took tests after the ulcerations occured.

4) Do you think the genital ulcerations and rashes on the lips may be related?
Does it mean my immune system is weak? Should I repeat tests - such as Herpes, HIV after 3 month period?

5) even if the massuse touched the inside of my foreskin there aint any risk ? i mean if she had infection or sores that caused the infection i have or something like that and in that case, i am freaking out what if one infection too many is passed on in the context of hiv? the inside of the foreskin touched the opening of the urethra directly right? this bit of doubt - can you clarify please?

6) what does it mean to marraige and relatiomships if it is HPV or MC?
Please respond. Freaking out and completely under stress. Am a high performer at work however not able to concentrate now. 3 our of 4 doctors have said I am guilty and psycologically upset, and healthwise everything is alright.

Initially we tght this wont be STD but now it looks like HPV or MC. So am a bit worried - the lesions have appeared at the exact place on the inside of my foreskin where the massuse touched me. Forums says microscopic aberations can let the virus transmit. Is there any concern here for HIV transmission the same way through the HPV or MC sores into microscopic aberations on the iner skin of penis.

Otherwise am convinced that handjobs are not risky, except this particular doubt in mind.

Regards
Friend

You won't get hiv from a hand job. No reason for any continued testing for hiv or any other of the bacterial std's or herpes from the handjob incident.

You can get molluscum and hpv potentially from hand to genital contact and yes they are both considered std's in the genital area. Not sure if you had any other sexual contact with a regular partner since november or not from your post but it sounds like you do have one. Have they been for any testing on their own? Continuing to follow up with your dermatologist for all of this is in your best interest for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Angular chelitis is not a std and has nothing to do with any of this.

Hi thanks for the reply

I dont have any sexual partners right now. But i did have 2 relationships in the last 3-4 years.

For MC or HPV to pass on during handjob, does the massuse need to have warts in the hand which needs to come in contact with my foreskin or even normal skin to skin contact is infectious?

Also, what are the personal hygiene factors i need to consider to not let this spread to my family, future partner?

They've actually done studies where they scraped under finger nails and found hpv on folks. You don't have to have obvious symptoms present.

at this point you don't even know for sure what is going on. Just continue to wash your hands after using the toilet or touching yourself intimately. Once you have a definite diagnosis you can better figure out if any precautions are needed. Typically with both of them, once they are removed, if they don't come back within a few months you are in the clear.

Need some advise...

Without prescribed tests available, what are the ways to find out what infection this is. My herpes tests at 2.5 months after latest exposure came back negative. Did the entire STD panel and it cameback negative.

Doctor said could be HPV or MC. So wondering how to confirm what it is...
Could i be anything else real bad...?

worried at bit...

The only way to confirm hpv or molluscum is thru removing one of them and sending it to the lab.

Met another doc who confirmed these could be genital warts - hpv.

Very upset and scared...
1) Is this something very serious?
2) Does this mean I cannot involve in relationship and marraige.
3) i wish to communicate this to my future partner - but are there chanes this is more serious in Women than men?
4) Doctor said - very minimal chance to have got it from Handjob. if so, is there chance of exposure to HIV through the warts the massuse might have had? am growin extremely scared about possible exposure to hiv. The warts have appeared at the same exact place where the massuese touched my foreskin.

Please help....address my fears...please....

You need to seperate your anxiety about all of this from the risk associated with it. You will not get hiv from a handjob. Hiv is a blood borne infection. It won't hide under fingernails like some other infections do . You were never, ever, EVER at risk for hiv.

Hpv is incredibly common. 1 out of 3 of us have it at some point whether we know it or not. External genital warts are just a cosmetic issue, not a health threat. They aren't any different from a wart on your hand or foot.

Thanks a lot for advise and putting some peace into my mind.
Doctor prescribed Aldara cream and also topically applied some caustic solution with a cotton swab.
Since that it is slightly painful and kinda itchy. Is it a common thing or might the caustic solution be allergic...?

Pouring acid on the skin tends to make it painful and itchy while it heals.

Think the pain is bit increasing. Hopefully its just the effect of the topical solution.

The burning sort of increased and the area looks greyish in color - not sure if this is frosting or it is pus. Can you advise? I understand the acid does not burn for such a long time. or does it?

If you are not happy with the opinion given to you by your current provider, seek out another provider for a 2nd opinion.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

I really don't think it's possible for anyone to get a hiv infection from just a hand job.
