Hi... Im really confused and have some questions that I cant seem to find the answer too...

I found out last year, Feb 2006, that I contracted Herpes. The dr told me it was HSV-2, and that I could expect upto 4 more OB that year. Its approx a year and a half, and I haven't had any other signs of another OB, dispite the amount of stress and tragedies Ive endured over the past year and a half. I figured I was just lucky... until I read that there are two different types of HSV, and that type 1, usually is under an outbreak per year.

So... is it safe for me to assume that I have genital HSV-1? And if so... what is the possibility of passing it on to someone? genital and orally??
Is there a bigger risk of them contracting it if they perform oral on me because its HSV-1??

The last thing I want to do, is pass it on and have another go through what I had to go through, and what I will go through sometime in the near future...

please help.
