Are cold sores always oral herpes? Are all oral herpes always cold sores? Please tell me what's the difference? If oral herpes just cold sores, why they are under STDs? Thank you.

yes cold sores are almost always hsv1 orally. It's not really a std but you can transmit hsv1 to the genital area thru oral sex which is why we talk about it.
