I have been on an emotional roller coaster for the past week thinking i may have genital herpes and how much harder it will be for me to date a girl i like. As much as I can, I'm still trying to not get worked up about it because i don't know for sure and I like i said , i have been in similar situations before. But I have never had this many lesions so it's like a red flag. If you look at images of genital herpes sores they are all very obvious that something is wrong because they are disgusting, but my symptoms aren't nearly as severe like the pictures i've looked at. though I know the odds probably aren't in my favor after reading all the websites.

to top it off i am a hypochondriac, it's one of the few labels i will give myself, and i worry about a new health issue in my body pretty regularly and i tend to over analyze the events in my life. With any luck i will worry about something less serious as soon as possible and forget about all this. When i read message boards, hypochondriacs often have the same problem as me when it comes to sex and health. is there something psychological about this?
i am just looking for some insight because i really loathe going to the doctor. But I want to be as ethical as i can in my sex life..so eventually i have to get tested so i can know

With all that being said.. i have a few questions i couldn't find answers to after scouring the internet. hopefully you can shed some light..

What are the characteristics of mild HSV2 ?

I know herpes can be very sneaky, How possible is it that this is HSV1 manifesting itself on my penis?

i have been allergic to certain soaps and foods before. so how likely is it that soap or a poor diet caused these?

Should i ask this last girl who i hardly know, in a friendly way, if she has something i should know about?

When will it go away? and when is it safe to receive oral sex from a girl ( if i do have HSV2) ? also, how do you find out if you have asymptomatic shedding?

Are there any rare disorders that cause people to feel paranoid after sexual encounters?
Are there some skin disorders i should know about?

Thank you for reading, i appreciate your response and knowledge
