I usually post my massage in hpv forum since I have both hsv-1 and hpv but I need some feedback from people who have had contradicting blood test results for hsv.

Nov. 08: lesion cultured and confirmed hsv-1 positive
Mar. 09: blood test confirmed negative for hsv-1 and 2

Has anyone experienced this contradicting test results? Some say my body hasn't built anti-bodies even after four months and others say I probably don't have hsv-1. Some say it can take up to a year although rare.

I've decided to depend more on those people who have had this experience over lousy doctors. Let me know if there is anyone else is experience this and as frustrated as I am.
