 Post subject: stop the spreading?

hi, i was diagnosed with genital herpes this past month and am curious if i ever find a woman that accepts my diesease and decide to have kids with im curious on how i could have a child without the diesease being spread to the child if anyone could answer this question it would be great thank you

Have you done any reading yet on genital herpes? I recommend the herpes info on the main asha site as well as the herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com ( free to read online or print out at home ).

When you find a partner, if they are hsv2 negative, you can take daily suppressive therapy and use condoms to reduce transmission to her. When it's time to start thinking babies, you can stop the condoms until she confirms her pregnancy. If your partner doesn't have hsv2, the baby won't get it either. The herpes handbook has a whole section on pregnancy for more reading.
