She said she has never been tested for them, but has never had an outbreak, and as long as we did stuff without me having a sore she is fine with it.

Last night, during the 'heat of the moment' I kissed her stomach a couple of times, no where near her pubic area, and I didn't have a breakout, I haven't had one for months (ever since the doctor gave me some acyclovir, just for outbreaks, not suppressive)- but now I'm worried about giving her HSV1 because of that.

Which is just silly, I know, because we have done a whole lot of kissing elsewhere where it's easier to catch, her mouth and neck etc, but just me getting near down there has me a bit frightened.

How low is the transmission of kissing someone with a cold sore, on a stomach or whatever? In fact, what is the transmission rate of oral without a cold sore?

This isn't worth any worry about. the skin on the belly is pretty thick and not easily infected with herpes.

you also are not a walking biohazard who is shedding herpes virus 24/7/365 either!
