Hello,

I am a heterosexual male, who was diagnosed with HPV a couple of years ago. I got it treated, and it's been months since it's returned.

I recently had protected intercourse with a girl once around seven days ago, and again last night. She performed unprotected oral on me four days ago. Last night, the sex was a bit, shall we say, vigorous. It lasted a while, but no issues with the condom. We have discussed STD's, and she says she's never had any, but she's never been tested for HSV, nor have I. Neither of us has ever had a cold sore.

This morning, I found a tiny red dot on the shaft of my penis. It's located in an area which was fully protected by the condom. It doesn't hurt, and I can barely feel it, if at all. I'm hoping that it's perhaps a burst capillary, but I don't know. It's a little smaller than the normal bumps on my penis, and it's not raised off the skin like HPV. It doesn't look like a blister.

Is there any way to tell if this is HSV? Is it just one of those wait and see things? I'm assuming that if it were HSV, it would blister, and perhaps be joined by additional blisters in the coming days.

Any input is appreciated.
