Should I assume that every lump and bump I find is an ob. Over the last month I have found a couple of lumps which have never turned into anything more than that. They're not painful and just disappear as quickly as they appear. Should I assume these are ob's?

Thanks,

Hi EnglishRose,

No, not every "lump and bump" will be related to herpes. There can be bumps, itchy skin, irritation, and so on that just happens. Herpes outbreaks can mimic everything from heat rash and yeast infections to jock itch. Of course check with your health care provider if something bothers you or seems to happen a lot, but sometimes a bump is just a bump!

Fredo
