I was wondering what it feels like when one has an ob inside the vagina? I itch in there quite often.

Outbreaks tend to be external, especially with recurrences. An outbreak on an interior surface usually involves the urethra or cervix but again, these areas are more often affected with a primary episode. Just what one would experience with internal symptoms can vary, just as any outbreak can. In general itching, burning, tingling, are all possibilities. Hard to always distinguish what's due to HSV, and what might be caused by another condition that has similar symptoms.

do you get seen when you have these itches? do they test you for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally? Are they random itches or just itches that occur here and there?

It's a constant itch that goes away for a little while when I scratch/rub the area. When the itch comes back it's sometimes sharp and sudden. I also feel very moist down there. I know this sounds more like a bacterial infection, but it has no odor. I thought I had read before that herpes could cause more discharge than normal. Is that true? When I tested positive for hsv2 the nurse told me that according to the tests I had probably had it for more than a year AND I was having a current ob at the time of the test. I had no visible symptoms. But I was having symptoms like I'm having now (the itching and d/c).

You won't always have odor with vaginitis.

go and be seen and get a proper exam done while you have symptoms.
